1. The Republic of Iraq has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Emergency Operation for Development Project- AF, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Design, Supply and Installation of a unified data collection and spatial analysis platform (MDC-GIS).

1. The Ministry of Education-Project Management Team intends to initially select Applicants for design, supply and installation of a unified data collection and spatial analysis platform (MDC-GIS). The services will include development of a platform for the collection and analysis of data, while building capacity and providing technical support. This is a mobile data collection platform (MDC) integrated with a Geographic Information System (GIS), which allows the collection of educational, demographic, social, economic and geographic data and their integration into a central educational database. The data are then used to develop policies and support educational planning and decision-making.  The project must implement a MDC / GIS platform integrated with the information system of the Ministry of Education (MOE) located in Iraq- Baghdad, the period for the completed contract is 28 weeks. 

1. Initial Selection will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” July 2016 revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”), and is open to all eligible Applicants as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.     Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from the Ministry of Education-Project Management Team at the address below during office hours (8:00 AM- 2:00 PM). A complete set of Initial Selection documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of  US$100 (one hundred). The method of payment will be Cash or transfer to account no ;( that will be provided by the PMT when needed). The document will be either picked up from the Ministry at address below or will be mailed to the applicant as required by the applicant

5.      Applications for Initial Selection should be submitted in clearly marked envelopes and delivered to the address below by  11:00 on November 30,2020 Late applications may be rejected.
